Biography
Jacques Kleynhans, born 1981 in the Eastern Free State, is a visual artist, lecturer and designer living in Cape Town, South Africa. Formally trained as a graphic designer, Jacques started exhibiting illustration work in group shows in 2009, and started exhibiting his first reverse-glass paintings in 2014. By creating compositions from fragmented and often disjointed concepts or ideas, Jacques creates clue-sets rather than complete visual impressions.
